Read your consumption before the quotation

Collect 12 monthly electricity bills and compare units, not only rupees. Tariff changes and fixed charges can make a bill look larger without a corresponding increase in energy use. Identify seasonal peaks, future loads and daytime demand.

Match system size to your electricity use

Your roof orientation, shading and local sunlight affect the energy a system can produce. Compare an annual generation estimate alongside your yearly electricity use, remembering that output changes with the seasons.

Choose the capacity that fits your home

Central household assistance reaches ₹78,000 at 3 kW and stays at that ceiling for larger systems. A 5 kW system can suit a home with higher consumption, while a smaller system may fit a lower bill. The right size comes from your energy use and roof.

Make the comparison complete

For each option compare the gross installed cost, eligible assistance, expected self-consumption, export settlement, maintenance, and loan repayments. Request a layout showing access paths and shadows. The least expensive price per kW is not automatically the best household investment.
