Residential rooftop solar in Odisha
From Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to Rairangpur, Solarixity helps households plan their rooftop system, application and installation. Start with your electricity bill and a few photographs of your roof.
Central subsidy and State Financial Assistance (SFA)
Eligible Odisha households receive state assistance of ₹25,000 for 1 kW, ₹50,000 for 2 kW and up to ₹60,000 for 3 kW or more. Together with central PM Surya Ghar assistance, total support reaches ₹55,000, ₹1,10,000 and ₹1,38,000 respectively. Subsidy is released through the scheme process after installation and approval.
A 3 kW budget, in numbers
For a ₹2,00,000 example installed system, ₹78,000 central + ₹60,000 Odisha assistance gives an effective cost of ₹62,000 after approval and subsidy credit, before financing costs. The installation is paid for or financed before the subsidy is released.
This is a worked budget, not a fixed Solarixity package. See the price and EMI example →
Start with the electricity supplier
Odisha’s four distribution companies are TPCODL, TPNODL, TPWODL and TPSODL. The supplier shown on your electricity bill determines the application, inspection and metering route for your home.
Solar designed for local conditions
On Odisha rooftops, we assess wind exposure, roof condition and the surrounding environment. In Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the layout also accounts for shadows from nearby buildings and water tanks.
Your rooftop proposal, explained
- Plant capacity and generation assumptions based on your bill and roof survey.
- A clear installed price, the subsidy you qualify for, and your down payment and EMI options.
- Module and inverter specifications, DCR compliance for subsidy, structure design, earthing and electrical protection.
- Net-metering responsibilities, inspection steps, warranties, monitoring and maintenance scope.
Ready to explore your rooftop?
Share a recent electricity bill, your city or district, roof photographs and approximate daytime consumption. If the applicant, property owner and electricity consumer differ, flag that before registration.

When cyclones are a concern, the structure matters.
Odisha’s cyclone exposure makes the connection between your solar panels and your roof especially important. We assess the roof and supporting building as part of the mounting design.
ArmorMount structural design is analysed in STAAD for 180 km/h wind conditions. ArmorMount combines ZAM-coated steel, bolted connections and bracing. Chemical anchoring secures suitable concrete-roof installations, while the mounting design accounts for your building’s height, layout and exposure.

The 180 km/h figure applies to the analysed structural configuration. Local exposure and the building beneath it remain part of the installation design.
