Make the scope comparable
Check capacity, module make and model, inverter rating, mounting structure, cable specification, protections and metering scope. Ask whether taxes, transport, civil work, approvals and monitoring are included. Two quotations with the same kW label may represent different systems.
Look closely at the roof work
Request a roof layout and structural assessment appropriate to the site. Clarify waterproofing responsibility, mounting details, safe access, shading and corrosion protection. A low equipment price cannot compensate for poor anchoring or a roof leak.
Separate the warranties
A module performance warranty is different from a product warranty, inverter warranty or workmanship coverage. Ask who handles claims, what exclusions apply and whether labour, transport and replacement costs are covered.
Agree on handover and service
Keep invoices, serial numbers, commissioning records, warranty documents and monitoring access. Confirm cleaning guidance, inspection frequency and the service escalation channel. Evaluate these commitments alongside subsidy eligibility and price.

A quotation should identify the mounting structure and fixing scope. Explore ArmorMount ZAM-coated steel structures and bolted construction, then ask how the proposed configuration suits your roof.
